while the interesting part is, Obama’s list includes very interesting, thriller and award-winner books.

  • At night All blood is black by David Diop. this book is an award winner. the story is a look at a little-known piece of world war 1 history. 
  • Land of big numbers by Te-ping Chen. a short story collection featuring a wide range of Chinese people’s experiences.
  • Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe, A nonfiction book about the Sackler family whose three generations of doctors have been developed and destroyed by their reputation with valium and oxycontin.
  • Project Hail Mary by Andy weir, a lone astronaut who must save the earth from disaster in this “propulsive”, cinematic thriller full of suspense, humor, and fascinating science—in development as a major motion picture starring Ryan Gosling.
